Cirrus Seven offers sustainable IT management and green data center management solution. They requested a logo that communicated clean, simple and green. The business cards and Word template were then created to complete the branding.

Double Dutchpage

Double Dutch & Co. is a start-up, digital marketing agency. They help companies make sense of and implement their digital presence, whether it be a website, facebook, twitter or search engine optimization.
The look that matched their personality was bold an unapologetic. They are edgy but still wanted to look professional and knowledgeable. The logo they loved was this bold, blocky stamp-like design. This fit with their attitude, they wanted to stand apart from a corporate look and target indie companies and mom & pop shops.
Since they are a digital marketing agency, they needed all the social media icons/handles. This tends to crowd the space, especially the ugly QR Code. We solved the problem by structuring all the info in a blocky, but broken up way. This matched the feel of the logo.
For the website, the client wanted something unique and “not the normal navigation bar.” We created a design that featured their logo in an ornate way, and came up with diagonal navigation. It has a lot of personality and expresses the warmth and energy of the company.

Self Promotion for The Taka Group

Self Promotion for The Taka Group
My employers wanted a stand out marketing package that included our portfolio, but did so in a creative way. A creative way to show creative, basically. I thought of the concept to send out lunch boxes, with the portfolio samples printed on cards, stacked and wrapped in plastic wrap like a sandwich. The cover card was a photo of a sandwich. The service 'menu' showed what we have to offer. We also included a tin of M&Ms printed with the Taka logo. The concept was called "A taste of what we do," and included a personal letter and inset business cards from the managing partners. All items fit perfectly in the box, and I constructed and inserted a riser, allowing me to inset the tin box so it did not slide around. I bound the service menu with a rivet.

Grand Canyon University Viewbook for The Taka Group

Grand Canyon University Viewbook for The Taka Group
This brochure was a huge undertaking, and it was also extremely successful. The client has ordered several runs of this piece, and it also won the AMA Spectrum Award for best Brochure, 2010. The goal was to reach high school students from out of state, and the client preferred a soft sell. I was enlisted to source the best places, events, restaurants, and stores in town to feature in the brochure as benefits to living in the city of Phoenix. I also researched the recreation aspects of the city and state, so that these potential students would not be able to wait to go to school at Grand Canyon University, instead of their local college.
This piece was designed to have integrity, and speak to high school students in a fun but informational way. We utilized testimonials to lend authenticity to the voice of the brochure. I loved how I was given creative freedom and I took full advantage of that by adding unique creative touches and content to make the piece memorable. Some of these included a tear-out poster, creating a historical back story of their mascot and illustration playing upon Da Vinci's vitruvian man, and on the inside back cover, digitally created an image of a bathroom stall wall with graffiti (with writings that pertained to GCU, of course!).
